Glass Fiber Fabrics and Insulation Materials

Thanks to our experience in glass fiber, we have opportunity to provide and develop materials that are most compatible for working conditions. We can provide solution for applications from 500 °C up to 1200 °C with our untreated fabrics. You may check our surface treatment fabrics for other solutions. Our sales staff who are experts in their objects will be with you at all times for application specific for your requirements.

Glass fiber based insulation materials and fabrics that can be used in different points and in different temperatures may be classified in many ways, however they are basically classified in two main groups as with surface finish and without surface finish.

Fabrics Without Surface Finish: Glass fiber fabrics, which are produced by Klevers Company, have versatile use and can be used at temperatures between -168 and +1200 degrees Celsius. These fabrics may be without surface finis as well as they may be with surface finish depending on factor such as temperature, chemicals, pressure, acids and abrasion exist in workplace. Our fabrics without surface finish are produced in different weaving types and weights. In order to enhance resistance of these fabrics, stainless steel wire reinforcement may be applied.

Fabrics With Surface Finish:Glass fiber fabrics with surface finish are named according to application performed on fabrics without surface finish. These applications made by coating, lamination and submersing. Coatings can be applied on one side of fabric as well as can be applied on both sides of fabric.

Coatings:
  • SC – It is an application that one or both sides of fabric is coated with silicon that have resistance against high temperatures.
  • PAPC – It is an application that one or both sides of fabric polyurethane saturated with aluminum powder that highly resistant against high temperatures.
  • PTFE – It is an application that one or both sides of fabric are coated with PTFE (polytetraflorotehylene) which is highly resistant against high temperatures.
  • VM : It is an application that coating with vermiculite in order to enhance resistance against cuts, wearing, flames and molten metal splashes.
Laminations:
  • AC FLT : It is an application that laminating of aluminum foil to glass fiber fabric with an helmet film.
  • AC MT : It is an application that laminating of aluminum foil to glass fiber fabric with and adhesive that is heat resistant.
  • APC FLT: It is an application that laminating of polyester film which both side is aluminized to glass fiber fabric with help of helmet film.
  • APC MT: It is an application that laminating of polyester film which both side is aluminized to glass fiber fabric with help of adhesive that is heat resistant.
  • APC HT : It is an application that laminating of polyester film which both side is aluminized to glass fiber fabric with help of adhesive that is heat resistant.
  • PTFE LAM : It is an application that laminating PTFE film on one or both side of glass fiber fabric.
