History

Fabric production started in Antalya plant.

Thread factory 20.000 m2 area was started to production activities in Antalya Organized Industrial Zone. As being first in Turkey, nonflammable and antistatic apparel production for gas stations is commenced (Tüpraş, Opet)

”Design Assistant Model Design Software”, which is the first in the World was realized. Our company participated this project as well, which was started with cooperation of domestic and foreign universities within ETex Weld project within EU Horizon 2020 Environmental Framework Studies.

Our physical test laboratory was commissioned.

The first heat laboratory concerned with Personal Protective Apparels was established within our company. Furthermore, our R&D and Quality laboratory were established. Our first Synthesis Project about smart textiles was realized.

ERP software was enhanced and barcode system was started to be used and thanks to this, traceability for personal protective apparel was ensured.

Our general directorate and Work Safety Production Department was moved to our newly bought building in İkitelli OIZ with 2500 m2 space. Production of Electric Arc Protective Apparel was started. Pulverized Tribune Insulation production was started.

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software was realized with our studies.

Export of Work safety Apparel was started. Production of apparels, that are resistant to molten metal splashes was started. 2800 pieces of apparels were exported to Mittal Steel Company.

ISO 9001 Quality System Certificate Was obtained. We became partner of PBI Performance Products. Insulation was performed with soluble pad system for cargo vessel in mining vessel industry.

Production of industrial nonflammable and antistatic apparel was commenced.

Production and sales firefighter apparels of EN 469 for municipalities, armed forces and fire departments.

New facility for engineering and mining establishment has been completed in Edirne Province Süloğlu District. Silica sand washing and screening facility has moved to its new place and a new factory investment for engineering department has been completed.

Welding mat production for welding spatters and molten metal splashes was started. A software that calculates heat dissipation in our engineering department.

Production of textile compensators were started. The first application of it was performed in Tüpraş Aliağa plants.

As first application made in Turkey, our company made turbine insulation with removable pad system.

The first valve jacket production was started in Turkey. Our brands KIVANÇ and PROTEK were registered.

Production of aluminized apparels for our military establishments was started.

Silica Sand mining activities were started in Edirne city, Süloğlu district.

The first fire blanket production in Turkey was realized by our company.

Sales of glass fiber and insulation materials were started.

The company proceeds its way as Kıvanç Kimya San. Tic A.Ş.

Our company which was established as sole proprietorship company ender title of Kıvanç Ticaret was commenced its commercial activities.
