Kıvanç Group is the choice for the fabric of First Turkish Astronaut Alper Gezeravcı's specially designed suit for his 14-day space mission!
Our black Fire-Blocker (93-5-2) fabric was preferred for the space suits produced in local facilities at the Aviation Sewing House Directorate of the General Directorate of Military Factories (AFGM) of the Ministry of National Defense in Ankara.
In addition to being suitable for space conditions, the suit, which was prepared with Alper Gezeravcı's comfort in mind, can be used in space missions with its antistatic capability.
With more than 40 years of experience in flame retardant and anti-static garment, yarn, and fabric production, we are proud to represent our country in space.

Highlights from Intersec 2024 Exhibition in Dubai
Last week (January 16-18) we were in Dubai for Intersec 2024, one of the world's most important trade fairs on fire protection and safety.
It was great to be one of more than 1050 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and to showcase the latest developments in our heat & flame protective clothing at this esteemed organization which is now in its 25th year.
Here are the highlights of Intersec 2024 for Kıvanç Group:
• For 3 days, it was great to meet our ecosystem, customers and new prospects at our booth where we exhibited our firefighter garments and industrial workwear developed with our continuous innovation perspective.
The dark room, where we showcased our progress in terms of high visibility of our garments, was an attractive aspect of our booth.
• We are very honored to receive the exceptional contribution award from valuable Intersec organization celebrating its 25th anniversary, which we have been very happy to be part of for the last 16 years.
In the traditional Safety Walk, one of the coolest moments of the event, we had a great fashion show with our female firefighter garment Gloria, our search & rescue suit Jaguar and our wildland firefighting suit Markus. You can watch it here.
